I have been that person — twice. As a Senior Executive Service (SES) leader, I led the most operationally complex pathology crisis in VA history. I architected the successful merger of 3,000 employees across two cabinet-level departments into the nation’s first fully integrated federal healthcare center — a single chain of command. In both cases, the playbook didn’t exist before I arrived. It exists now because I built it — and Congress made it law.

I have led through federal oversight, regulatory pressure, media scrutiny, leadership vacuums, union negotiations, and culture collapse — and produced measurable wins every time. I am a Retired Navy Veteran (20 years active duty), a Former Baldrige National Quality Examiner, and founder of a Veteran-Owned Small Business. I hold an M.A. in Management & Leadership and a B.S. in Organizational Management.
